Meet Ryan

The Artisan of Barron Boot Company, handcrafting custom made-to-order cowboy boots in his workshop near Millarville AB.

Growing up as a working cowboy, he has worn boots for most of his life. After having the fortunate opportunity to spend five months with John Weinkauf in Kerrville Texas, learning everything he could about the art of boot making, he is enjoying the collaborative process of working with each client to build a perfectly individually suited pair of boots.

The Process

From beginning to end there are roughly 30 hours and officially 370 steps that go into every pair of custom boots.

If you are interested in ordering a pair of boots the first thing Ryan will do is measure your feet, next determine the style of boot you would like including the height of the heel, the shape of the toe, and how you would like the tops to look.

Then you’ll browse the choices of leather and color options for your boots and lastly go over any other design details (logos or initials) that you would like to include.

If you cannot attend the shop in person, a custom order package that includes a measuring tape and all the instructions you’ll need can be mailed to you.
